The board doesn't mean anything, just like all engineering samples they are well overbuilt with a ton of plugs for debugging

Tho I'm surprised AMD hasn't given up on small Vega cards when Navi is already announced

yes, engineering sample board doesn't mean anything,i just what test this GPU's gaming performance?

This gpu has same specification and frequency with macbook pro's Radeon pro vega20 ,and something confused is why vega12 die size bigger than Polaris20 but it only have 1280 Shading Units?

test platform:  asus sabertooth x79

                       crucial ddr3l 1600 8-8-8-24-1 2x4GB

                       i7 3930k@3.2Ghz no tubro boost

this card had been beaten by RX470 and RX560XT,it's only better than RX560?.

HBM2 memory running in this card is only at 750Mhz(1.5Gbps),so memory banwidth was 191GB/s.

Why is it called Vega 20? It doesn't sake sense. 14nm Vega has the codename Vega 10 and 7nm has the codename Vega 20. But then they release a 14nm product and call it Vega 20???

I'm guessing this card is going to be a replacement for low end GPUs like RX 550, RX 560 which are now getting pretty old and slow considering that the RX 590 is barely keeping up with a 1660.

Here is the firestrike score for Radeon Pro Vega 20. A little higher than this card it seems. Still pretty slow and a long way off the RX 570. Better than RX 560 but that's a $105 card. I can't see how this card is going to be under $100. Why does it exist??? Do you know?

Gaming Rig:CPU: Xeon E3-1230 v2¦RAM: 16GB DDR3 Balistix 1600Mhz¦MB: MSI Z77A-G43¦HDD: 480GB SSD, 3.5TB HDDs¦GPU: AMD Radeon VII¦PSU: FSP 700W¦Case: Carbide 300R
