Hey there!

Alright, the basics first then;

Is the PSU turned on? The little switch on the back of your PC.

Double checked all cables? Does the motherboard have both power connectors plugged in?

Did you remember to plug in the power button connector at the bottom of the motherboard?

i notice this motherboard has a 8 + 4 connector for the cpu, i do not see this option on your power supply.

Did you connect something to both? if so, what did you connect and does it perhaps boot with just the 8pin?

the case has stand screws built in

I think Bogger is trying to prevent you from shorting your motherboard. Not all cases have them installed, and if they do not all of them are installed according to the format of the motherboard you plan on installing. Since its a full-ATX board i don't think its an issue, but definitely worth checking if the standoffs match the motherboard connection points.

Have you tried to power on with the bare minimum connected?

as in, only cpu in (and aio, don't need to power it if you keep the on time to an absolute minimum), power in, and shorting the power button, with a screw driver, to boot.

no no this is fine, this will work.

Please disconnect the usb on the bottom left. disconnect the plugs bottom middle, remove the ram sticks from the board (don't need that to try a power cycle) remove the graphics card. then run a screw driver over the pins which has the power button connections.

See if you can get some action in that beast.

I know this is a dumb question but did you actually turn it on by the front pannel connectors with your on button (or by shorting it) because I know when I first built my PC I plugged everything in and flicked the switch at the wall but freaked out when nothing happened but then realised I didn't press the on button ?

Gaming PC Specs:

Motherboard: Gigabyte AORUS B450M Elite

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080

RAM: Corasir Vengeance RGB pro 2x 8GB 3200MHZ

PSU: Corsair CX550M

Case: Deepcool matrexx 55

I know. Its a mess. But it's all I can do right now

<snip>

I don't know if it was just while you were re-arranging things, but the switch on the PSU is set to 0 (i.e. off) in this picture...

I will only ever answer to the best of my ability - there is absolutely no promises that I will be correct. Or helpful. At all.
