PETG compatibility?

Hello,

I want to use mayhems xt-1 nuke uv clear sky blue coolant in my system.  I was hoping to use PETG but I am getting some conflicting information.  Mayhems support says it is compatible but all my research says it is not.  Was hoping someone here with experience could clear up the confusion for me!

Thanks!

I wouldn't use it. Mayhem's SDS is still all over the place and so I wouldn't think anything has changed and as you correctly point out EG is not good with PETG.

While they may have made a new formula, and its possible its not glycol bassed anymore, if its still marketed as XT-1 with the same packaging etc, then its highly possible you could order some and get the old formula.

So i would just play it safe and use either acrylic tubing or glass. Personaly i would go glass but that ofc means buying more fittings as most people dont have the tools and skills necessary to bend glass.
