IIRC the XPS 15 with dGPU has thermal issues, so maybe that's why?

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

Wall Of Fame (Informative people/People I like): @Glenwing @DrMacintosh @Schnoz @TempestCatto @LogicalDrm @Dan Castellaneta

i dont get it. how come dell is the only one with a laptop like the xps 15 (dedicated gpu) which is <$1600.

why dont other laptop manufacturers sell ultraportables with the 1050ti for cheaper or even simmilar prices??

I had the XPS 15 9570 with the i9-8950HK a few months back. It had one of the best displays I've ever looked at, 4K super bright IPS display and it's not the fugly anti-glare one that you find on most laptops, it's super sharp and a joy to look at. I bought it from HIDevolution and had them repaste the CPU + GPU with Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut and never had any issues with overheating or thermal throttling.

With that said, there's a similar laptop from MSI, it's the MSI P65 and the ASUS Zephyrus
