So right now I'm playing with overclocking a bit for the first time actually, I've done some research into it and know the basics I guess.
I set my i7-4790k to 4.4 GHz while leaving all the voltage settings to "Auto" in the BIOS and everything booted up perfectly fine without any problems. Tbh I didn't want to mess with any voltage settings yet, because the Core Voltage setting both in BIOS and in CPU-Z (after I booted up) showed the same number which is 0.344 V, and that confuses me a lot. Shouldn't the Core Voltage be anything around 1.2-1.3 V? I really have no idea why is this number so low, it drives me crazy and I can't find anything similar online about it. Any help appreciated, thanks in advance although it might be a stupid question! ?

at no load the voltage will be lower. I have played around quite a bit with my I7 4790K so if you get stuck or whatever feel free to ask

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
