None right now for only $220. The best GPU you can get for that much is the GTX 1660, and that GPU isn't going to be that much faster than your RX 580. At least not fast enough to justify dropping $220.

What you could do is sell the RX 580 and increase your budget by $100. If you do that, you'll have options like the RTX 2060. You'll have access to RTX features like raytracing, and you'll also have much better performance.

Looking at those specs, I'd also consider getting another 8 GB of RAM so you have 16 GB. Doing that might be more worthwhile than upgrading your GPU right now.

Honestly with your budget there's not much you can upgrade to that would make a tremendous difference, like @jstudrawa said you could use another 8GB of Ram, but as for the GPU you already have an 8GB 580, anything that would be worth upgrading to from that is going to be quite a bit over your budget. If I were you I'd upgrade the Ram and wait for the new Navi GPUs to come out in the next month or two and save up for one of those. The 3080XT is supposedly RTX 2080 performance for $350.

For 220 you don't have a lot of option in the new catalog that will be better.

You can have a 1660, but only slightly better.

In the used market you can get 1070 and up or vega 56 on the red side.

Lower than that not worth it.

I suggest hodl for a moment till a budget Navi solution or sell the 580.

I hope you have that 8gb ram as 2x4gb dual channel though..

for 220, there is hardly better option. Sometimes Vega56 can be fetched for 240-250USD (at least in my location.). Perhaps you should stretch the budget a little?

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )

Also, if the OP is staying 1080p, no need to upgrade,.  Maybe if you move up to 1440p (UW even) then look at a new GPU for that reso.

I saw a couple articles and videos about it a month ago could of just been fake leaks or something but they were pretty reputable sources.

Found them nevermind it's not 2080 performance it's 2070 performance for $340.

Most of what I read was leaks or rumors but I was pretty sure the price point and expected performance was confirmed by AMD.

These graphics cards do not exist.

AMD officially announced Navi yesterday and the cards will be the RX 5700 and RX 5700XT.

The RTX 2070 competitor will be $449.

As for the OP and as a fellow RX 580 8GB owner, really the lowest priced worthwhile upgrades would be to a Vega 56 or RTX 2060 in the $300-$350 range for now.

I personally am waiting for Navi to hit the market and see what the performance numbers look like. I plan to probably edge into the RTX 2070 / RX 5700 XT territory to get a real upgrade.
