New parts for a newbie

Hello,

So recently I starting thinking about replacing some parts in my computer. I'm personally not that familiar with pc biding and pc parts so I hoped to find some help here. Current I got a GTX 1050 with an AMD 6300 6 core proccessor but I can't decide quite which of these to replace for some better equipment. For a new GPU I was thinking of a RTX 2060, although for a new proccessor I don't know quite what would be best to get without spending a lot of money, around 400-500 max. Hope anyone can help here find me some good value replacements that can improve mostly fps during gaming :)

Thanks either way

youll need a new CPU before you get a new GPU. that CPU is limiting now a days. the GPU is fine. getting a new CPU will require you to also get a new Motherboard and even new RAM if you are going from DDR3 to DDR4.

also where you live affects pricing.

In addition to what the above person said, I think you should focus on a CPU before GPU, but if you had your heart set on a 2060 down the line, I think maybe a Ryzen 5 2600 may be a good route. I dunno where you're from but it's only like £130 in the UK.
