How are you supposed to remove the fan from the GeForce G100?

Here's a picture (of a G100 which isn't my model, but fan is still held on the same):

You see those things in the middle of the fan? Those hold it on, but I can't find how you're supposed to remove them at all.

So you've took the fan/cooler assembly off the card already?

I'm trying to take off the fan.

The G100 is an incredibly low end card; my model looks like the one in the picture and there's no shroud/backplate at all (just that the white plastic thing around it isn't there)

There's be 2 plastic push pins, and a lug in each. You should be able to push out the lug a little bit on the back, then use a set of plyers to pull it out all the way.

The pushpins then should be able to be pulled out, and then remove the heatsink.
