Hey

I have 8700 with Hyper 212 cooler on it,

When I play games which are cpu intensive like far cry 5, my temps keep fluctuating from 70 - 87 with max 38% usage, are those temps fine ?

Also recently had a black screen while playing far cry 5 , (No Signal) on monitor, I did some research and many people suspect psu or cpu temps. So I just need a solution for the temps and this random black screen issue (I was gaming for non stop 5 hours) when the black screen appeared.

My specs

i7 8700 (non k)

Gigabyte b360m

1080 Ti Armor OC (with temps around 80c)

16gb ddr4 ram Hyper x

Corsair TX 650M

cpu cooler Hyper 212 (I know it's average but still just for 38% usage temps are too high)

Thank you. :)

Can you show us how your PC looks like? these temps are indeed higher than they should be, I have an i7 8700 myself on a Hyper 212X and I get 68Cº on max load while overclocked to 4.45ghz all cores.

So either you mounted something wrong or your case has extremely limited airflow.
