LOL...I know, it's kind of ugly. I was debating whether or not to have it in here. It's nice being able to grab a cold drink when I'm gaming or watching TV Before, it was just sitting unused collecting dust in our garage.

Thanks man, initially I was going to connect the TV to the computer but it's really not worth the trouble when I have roku that can stream plex, netflix and youtube! =)

Well, I have a weird problem now...Whenever the mini fridge compressor kicks on, my larger monitor goes black for a good 10-20 seconds. I'm thinking it's probably due to a voltage drop as the fridge is also plugged into the same surge protector as the PC and monitors (probably a very bad idea that I didn't think through) I'll definitely switch outlets and hopefully it's not some kind of weird EMT surge causing the monitor to go out for a few seconds...LOL

Yikes, I know that feeling. When I used my hairdryer one of my monitors went poof for a few seconds. I question the monitor's psu quality tbh in these cases.

It's an ancient fridge and I wouldn't doubt the start up capacitor in it is bad, so that probably causes a serious voltage draw each time it turns itself back on to cool. I'm lucky my PC didn't restart each time.

Grab a UPS or ditch that fridge.  It's just going to degrade even further anyway.

I may in the future, but having a mini fridge in that same room isn't a very high priority...it's just kind of convenient for the lazy  I went ahead and plugged it into a separate outlet on an adjacent wall and that seems to have eliminated the 'surging' issues.

 

I had to change around plugs...Now, I have my 'powerline' ethernet adapter plugged into the same outlet (separate receptacles) as my surge protector my PC is connected to. Will that create any networking issues that you know of? I'm still having the weird issue of my computer not connecting to my network every time I boot, even though it's connected to the powerline adapter via cat 5 cable. It's not a huge deal, just kind of annoying because I'll have to restart it and then it will connect.

Thank you, love the chair and I built the PC to be able to run modern games and VR. Prior to this, I was sitting in an uncomfortable wooden kitchen chair using a slow mac mini with a dual core i5 from 2011.

This looks quite good, but I have some ideas for further improvement:
Would it be possible to move the left and right conduit next to the middle conduit until you reach the TV and then have them either branch out from there or let them go up vertically and then split them once they are at the correct height? This might make you wall surface look less "scattered".

As for the cables under the table, it looks to me like you have a power bar on the floor where everything is plugged in. You could try using a picture ledge (like this one for example: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70292104/?query=MOSSLANDA&icid=iba|us|unbxdsuggestion|201811132211556208_1#/20291767 ) to puit your power bar onto, then you would only have the power bar's power cord that goes into the wall socket visible. I actually did that both at my desk and at my parents' desk and found it to be quite effective. Depending on which is more practical, you could mount the picture ledge either to the wall or to be underside of your table (which might require some metal brackets).

Thanks for the suggestion, that is actually something I was planning about 2 weeks ago after I received USB extenders. Unfortunately, I was having signal degradation issues and ended up returning them. I may again look into this, but right now the cables just aren't long enough to route them that way. The picture ledge idea is brilliant, that just may be my next project. Right now, you'll see I'm using a box to kind of hide the mess of cables and it does look a bit better than the earlier photos. All in all, I'm pretty happy with the results, this is an extra bedroom we have upstairs and it's a pretty small room (maybe 10 ft x 12 ft) so my options are pretty limited. It is just barely large enough for VR and I really have to be careful when playing games that require arms flailing around and movement. I've accidentally bumped the wall and my monitor quite a few times! That's part of the reason why I've decided to move my sensors up close to the ceiling so I don't knock them around. LOL
