Well the new version of windows will have Spectre/meltdown fixes which were a very minor hit to AMD's performance. I've tried searching around and there aren't any clear answers to why your performance is worse. If I had to guess, the newer windows 10 is probably using more of your memory. If you are running a single channel of 8gb ram, I would recommend upgrading to 16gb (2x8gb). Jumping out of the bus in fortnight is the most cpu intensive part of the game, so you will see a frame dip until you land. Also, only getting 240fps is like saying I can only run a 5 minute mile. any frame rate over your monitors refresh rate is pointless.

It’s because when you are running dual channel memory you are doubling the effective memory bandwidth for your cup. This allows it to get the information it needs faster and send it out faster.

Most ryzen cpus are also effectively made up of two CPU’s on one die, and use the memory to communicate with each other. This is not the case for your 2400g though.

Why on earth are you pushing your fps above 60 on a 60Hz monitor? You do know ANY fps over 60 you cannot see unless you get a monitor with more Hz like a 144Hz monitor right? Limit your fps to 60 and call it a day until you get a higher Hz monitor.

And btw, the fps drops you are experiencing are common to Fortnite. It's been going on for weeks now as a result of recent updates...

The fps drops will still occur in Fortnite even when you limit your fps to 60 but like I said, until you get a 144Hz monitor, there's absolutely no reason for you to push more frames than 60 on a 60Hz monitor.
