Alright, Which PSU will you recommend me if I am on a tight budget

cx450/cx550 (2017).   not the modular variant. its worse than the non-modular.

that should be the cheapest you should go for.

if you are in the UK: Bequiet system power 9 500watt or the Bequiet Pure power 10/11 400watt

A few years ago, when i didn't have any knowledge about Computers, I built a purchased a PC

Well, it has a Zebronics 450W PSU with no rating or specification. But it is working fine for 4 years now.

I recently got to know that using cheap PSU can fry every component.

Should i go for an upgrade to a PSU like Corsair VS450 rejecting Zebronics PSU or just wait for this PSU to die (working great for 4 years)

My PC specs

Ga h81 mobo

i3-4130

GTX 1050Ti

8GB DDR3 RAM

Zebronics 450W PSU (way cheaper than Corsair VS series)

IMO the modular one is better becuase of ease of use. I'd rather have a 650W Gold semi-modular EVGA GQ than a titanium non-modular version of a a seasonic ultra prime titanim

Except its electrically worse. Its kinda like a slightly better VS PSU.

If that was the case he might aswell grab a VS PSU and just forget quality and all that jazz.

The point was that it was supposed to be cheap and good.

But its cheaper, which is the one criteria OP wanted to follow.

Im just making the point that the cxm is not worth it over the cx due to the differences electrically between them

In what world is the CXM only slightly better than the VS?

It has similar electrical layout afaik. I dont know the full details. Its better, but its only a little better than recommending the VS PSUs. I believe the CXM scores better in terms of efficiency.

Johnny Guru didnt understand why one would bash the VS PSUs and then recommend the CXM over it.

Spoiler

Hopefully im not misquoting here, but he said something along those lines
