XMP only working for half of my memory

Hi,

First time poster, so if I do anything wrong, just let me know and I'll try to edit it

I have had my PC for a bit now and I used to have 8GB of memory. It was adequate, but I decided to go for another 8GB, totalling to 16GB.

I had: Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK8GX4M2B3000C15 8gb (2 sticks of 4gb each) (Slot 2 and 3)
I have bought and added: Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK8GX4M2B3000C15 8gb (2 sticks of 4gb each) (Slot 1 and 3)

As you can see, I've bought the same set as I had before so I would not have any odd stuff going one. The first set I had ran 2133hz, and after enabeling the XMP profile, it ran a nice expected 3000hz. But when I added the next 4gb, the first set remained as it was, but the new set wont go to 3000hz and I cant figure out why.

I've set it back to normal and reset my PC and tried to set them both in one go, but it doesnt matter at all. I tried to google, but all results are "how to enable XMP", which isn't the problem, I've found that.

I've run the following command to check if they're maybe not the same, but I'll add the results:

Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong? Bit of a waste of money like this.

ok i think i found an answer ! from what i read XMP is made for single kits. so if you get 2 kits of 2x4GB=no good, 1 kit of 4x4GB=you are good

Do you have any source which I can read? Do you mean that the physical kit I get in a package has to be the same? Because as you can see in the command result in my topic, they're identical in every way :) Which I would think is the 4x4gb. They're all the same in every aspect I can find :)
