No signal when changing HDMI to DVI

Hey all so I’ve been using HDMI all these while but now I need to use DVI as I’ve changed my monitor but I can’t seem to get any signal. It might be because my Monitor is old though it still works all fine. 

 

Monitor model: Viewsonic VX2233WM

GPU: Asus Dual GTX1060 6GB

have you reinstalled the drivers?

I live in misery USA. my timezone is central daylight time which is either UTC -5 or -4 because the government hates everyone.

I would try that.
