Macros and discord

I just got a corsair K95 Patinum RGB and want to setup one of my dedicated macro keys to deafen me in discord. However when i go onto the discord keybinds page it won't recognise it as a keypress. I've tested the macro key previously in iCUE so I know the key works. pls help

Sadly, I've had issues with this before, one game I used to play used all kinds of macros, but ye olde faithful K90 would not run the macros in game. They'd have no problem outside the game on my desktop, but not in-game. Seems to be a Corsair software limitation as my 700K from Cougar is working just fine in this game.

Just set the keybind in Discord to something like "Ctrl+Shift+Alt+K+L" or something complicated (that also doesn't conflict with any other keybinds) and go into the Corsair iCue software and set whatever macro key to that combo.

I wouldn't bother with LTT discord in the first place...good people, but the mods run it like a militant camp which ruins the experience for many others.
