@Tristerin actually most US debt is held by US citizens we own more of china's debt. They aint doing shit. Also china has been spending liek us in some places creating problems. I still hate thess tariffs but the debt threat is a joke in so far as china goes.

I clarified that (most people don't understand the Social Security Trust Fund so no point bringing it up) in a later post.  China owns $1,100,000,000,000 (1.1 Trillion) of our debt.

1. Aircraft carriers work wonders. Especially when a single American carrier strike force wields more firepower than any other national navy on the planet (pretty big difference between what a traditional jump  vs a super carrier can bring to the table)...

So, nationalistic hubris, very false information, ignorance of international law, and disregard for all other countries / belief that they are US vassals are the tools by which you play out this fantasy in your mind.

So, nationalistic hubris,

Firepower is firepower?‍♀️. You (and I) may not particularly enjoy the prospect of armed conflict, but such is reality.

very false information, ignorance of international law,

International law? Who provides enforcement for said international law ?? "Laws" and "agreements" are worth as much as the paper they're printed on (if even that) only so long as all relevant parties continue to reap benefits and are able to enforce them in a meaningful manner.

Reality is reality - the current state of the "westernized" world was bribed into existence under American protection as an alliance to contain Soviet expansion. The Soviets are gone, and the Americans are simply waking up to the fact that maintaining said alliance is no longer in their best interests.

Trump may be uncouth and brash, but the underlying message from the current American administration is going to be repeated by future ones.

So you do know that Gold is what Backs the US dollar, and that they don't want the US Dollar (once the loan is recalled its toilet paper), but Gold which would prop the Renminbi up.  Awesome, not sure why you disagreed about the Gold statement.

Yeah, and the moment they refuse payment in American currency America can quite legally declare the loans in question null and void. They don't have sooper speshul seekrit loans with a codicil mandating payment in a form of the loaner's choice.
