no case, that psu will whine, prime doesn't really have that good vrms (fixing in the tier list soon), and it lacks a case

with that extra budget i'd go for a case with slightly better airflow like meshify c or cooler master h500 imo

great options, a 2080 or vii for a little more budget is a option too, but then op might want to switch to a mwe gold 750w. with a new case, this one isn't bad for the price, but that cm h500 would beat the crap out of it

I'd wait and see what AMD pushes out in a couple of months if you can.

I'd definitely get a larger SSD; they're cheap.

As someone who has that exact power supply, I have no idea what you're talking about.

it's a common issue that only appears with higher end graphics cards (read as 1070+)

 

i can tell you... i use a cx550m myself on a 1070 ti

i can tell you... i use a cx550m myself on a 1070 ti

I use a RX 570 which is rated for 180W, the same as the 1070 Ti.

nah, it's pretty much locked because i was smart enough to buy a g100m, so it's 75

 

i know @LienusLateTips doesn't have the issue, but i (and when Jon's here he probably too) know enough of them
