Loose a button xbox controller

Otherwise, opening up the controller is probably the only solution to fixing this. There is likely some gunk on the inside which makes the button not come up again or made the pad under it less 'springy'. Opening up the controller and cleaning it should fix that all up.

Having done this, it's a real pain in the ass. Possible, but not my first suggestion if you can help it.

I mean you could try to use a toothbrush (which you don't intend on using in your mouth again) and try to clean between the button and controller (so while it's fully assembled), but that is just delaying the problem again.

Yeah, I spilled pickle juice on mine when the jar decided to explode all over my desk. It doesn't really get deep enough to actually clean it. Then again I used soapy water and a q-tip.
