AMD Kaveri A10-7850 + R7 250 (Dual Graphics) Benchmarks

I finally finished installing some games and ran a bunch of benchmarks with Tomb Raider. The only thing I did not benchmark is Kaveri performance by itself, all of the benchmarks are dual graphics or GPU only. I didn't feel like uninstalling the GPU to test the APU by itself, if someone has just the APU and would like to contribute benchmarks feel free to do so. For the GPU only benchmarks (Indicated as "Single" vs "Dual" in the benchmarks below) I simply un-checked the Dual Graphics option in the Catalyst Control Center.

 

System setup:

Motherboard = Asrock FM2A88X-ITX+ (all settings on default except Cool'n'Quiet disabled, fans set to "Performance", other settings listed below)

APU = AMD A10-7850K (VRAM set to 1GB in BIOS)

RAM = AMD 16GB Gamer Series DDR3 2133 (AMD AMP Memory profile loaded in BIOS for 2133 speed)

GPU = Gigabyte R7 250 1GB DDR5 (all settings on default, GPU Clock 1100, Memory Clock 1150)

OS = Windows 8.1 with all updates installed

Driver = Catalyst 13.30 RC3 BETA

 

Tomb Raider was installed through Steam and was being run for the first time with all settings on default. For each of the benchmarks the graphics quality was simply changed between Normal, High, Ultra, and Ultimate, using the default settings for each mode except as noted in the benchmarks where either TressFX (TFX) was enabled or VSync was turned off. The benchmarks themselves are simply done using the "Start Benchmark" option on the main menu of Tomb Raider, easily reproduce-able, by anyone.

 

 

Forgot to mention: The only difference between Ultra and Ultimate graphics modes is the enabling of TressFX (at least as far as I could see).
