Looking for Glass type screen

Maybe something like these?

I checked out the link you provided and I think those monitors are exactly what I'm looking for.  My eyes are getting tired of the old matte type screen (I'm 64, soon to be 65) and I really like the looks of the apple screen with it's glass type screen.  Many thanks for the help.

My current monitor is an Acer that is going on 6 years old.  I would like to replace it with something new but I don't know what I'm looking for.  I run Win10Home on my machine while my wife uses an iMac machine.  My monitor screen looks like it is a matte finish (1920 x 1080) 27 inches while my wife's iMac has a glass screen.  Since we live in the boondocks of northern California, the only place to look at screens are at Target, WalMart, and Staples.  All of them have old screens on display and the workers there don't have a clue what I'm looking for and can't tell me what it is either.  What I am looking for is something with a glass screen like my wife's iMac.  Something smooth, not the textured, matte finish type of my current Acer monitor.  Since my knowledge of computer hardware is limited to what is inside the box, I am unfamiliar with the different types of monitor screens.  Could someone please tell me what I am looking for so that when I order from Newegg I know what to look for when shopping.  Thanks a bunch for the help.  Oh yea, 27 inches would be great.

I know what you're looking for, and unfortunately it seems to be an apple exclusive. I'd love to just spray down my 3x 23" monitors and wipe them like windows.

Is 24" close enough? The best I can think of for you is one of the old Sony PlayStation 3 24" 3D 1080p 240Hz TV/Monitor things they reased years ago. It's 1080p and has a 120hz refresh-rate, it's listed as 240hz because 2 pairs of glasses can be used to see 2 inputs at once! It's a great HDMI monior with 3D disabled if you're not into that kinda thing.

It's way overpriced on Newegg likely because it's the last one they have, but I see them drifting around on Facebook marketplace for 100-120 every 2-3 weeks.

For the most part LCD's dont use Glass, they don't 'need' to so they dont, its cheaper to make that way. Its not like old Plasma and CRT's where u had to use glass.

Apple ofc can do it to be different, and can afford to because their products are massively overpriced anyway. Though tbh i didnt know they actually had used glass on a monitor, i would more expect it to be just a gloss finish plastic ..but still.

The best way to get a gloss finish on a LCD is to take a risk and attempt to remove the anti glare coating. Ideally u would get a monitor that has a peal-able layer rather than a spray on layer.

The problem is you risk totally destroying the monitor.

I used to own a 27" HP Pavilion monitor and it had a very glossy, reflective, non-antiglare, "glasslike" finish on the screen. Don't know if the more current models are the same.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
