Hi guys,

there's a FX 8320, 4x4 GB 1600 MHz and a RX 570 4GB installed in my current system. It's high time for a new system and I'd like to know what performance boost can I expect. I'm going to buy a Ryzen 3600X at the end of this year, but let's consider a 2600X for the moment. I prefer playing on medium settings and stable and high FPS rather than playing on 4K ultra quality. I'm pretty sure that my CPU somehow bottlenecks my GPU. (Some Screenshots of TombRaider benchmark attached)

What do you think about this?

The 2600x can do 100+ fps, it's a good upgrade option.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

It's hard to say... the Zen 2 certainly will have the potential for high refresh gaming that current Zen + lacks but then again even if you play at 1080p have in mind the RX 570 is not the fastest card there is either.

You will be above 60fps for sure but stretch all the way to 100fps is not a guarantee, specially on games running on DX11 or simply not as optimized for AMD (Like nVidia sponsored titles).
