Why not 4k60hz?

 

Being okay depends on the individual but personally speaking I think it's doable, but I don't see much point on it.

60 is gonna be better for web browsing, most movies are filmed at either 30 or 24fps so it doesn't really matter there, but if you can i'd say go for 60hz. Price shouldn't be that big of a difference either

i have 1600*900 60hz is it possible to simulate 30hz for chrome in my monitor

You'll have to change it to 30hz in windows

Right-click the windows desktop, and then click Display Settings
Click Advanced display settings.
Click Display adapter properties, change hz under the Monitor tab
Click apply

Then you can try it with movies, chrome and everything else

For desktop use you will notice a reduction in responsiveness. Dropping it on your existing display would be a good test to see if you can tolerate it or not.

windows 10 

i dont know how to drop to 30hz

Nvidia Control Panel --> Change Resolution --> Set refresh rate from drop down box

 

Or do what Crunken posted above directly in Windows.
