Hi guys I’m kinda new to pc I’ve been at it a year now building etc. I am currently in the process off replacing my 1080 to a 2080ti RTX Strix. I currently have team group elite 2400mhz DDR4 ram and I am wanting to upgrade to Trident.Skill z rgb 3200mhz 32gb. i have a Asus Z270F MOBO and a i7700k processor. I’m currently not sure whether to get the C14 or C15 the price isn’t really a problem of course I’m trying to save money if possible. I’ve kinda looked up about this but it seems to be 50/50 some people saying yes as it’s Samsung etc others saying no. Any advice would greatly be helpful.

I mean better timing is better timing. Of course get CL14. thats if the mhz is the same.

Yeah the Mhz is the same but also been recnetley reading that intel doesn't show much difference with Ram like AMD does on the other hand/

Yup Enderman said it best and hes a super guru master.  There is no real world difference between 2400Mhz and 3200Mhz.  However on AMD platform you will notice a difference.

He's talking about the difference between C14 3200MHz and C15 3200MHz.

Not 2400 vs 3200MHz.

Oh ooops, my bad Enderman, sorry!!!  It is a no brainer CL14 would fair better, but you wont really tell a difference between 14CL or 15CL.  One thing you can do is get the 14CL then raise the timings to 16CL and overclock the 3200Mhz, but I don't recommend that unless your on AMD platform which your not.  So grab the 14 CL kit and don't look back.
