Hi,

i posted a similar thread early that I wanted to get a new build for digital art and gaming at 2k however I have now got a bit of a bigger budget and I was just wondering if this build is ok and anything that I should change. I do have another 1tb hdd which I will use. I also wanted to know how well would the cpu and gpu do with the monitor I picked or is there another monitor which is better for around the same price? Only thing I wasn’t sure of was the motherboard and also the cooler.

any advice is greatly appreciated

Looks decent. I would suggest going with a 2x16GB memory kit instead of 4x8GB. It would leave two memory slots open for a future no replacement upgrade. There is not real performance difference between the two configurations.

Replace motherboard for the Aorus Elite. (Prime-A is overpriced and bad overclocker).

Replace the AiO for a Dark Rock Pro 4. (Will cool on pair if not better while being quieter and lasting longer, with no leaking risks that can kill hardware).

Get an additional cheaper Sata 3 2,5inch SSD of large capacity to store large games.

That's pretty much it, and you'll be golden.

Hi i have looked at the Aorus and did quite like the look at them this may sound like a stupid  question but do they only have orange rgb? One of the reasons i picked the ausus because of the aesthetics.

All of Gigabyte Aorus boards have full RGB spectrum, you're only locked to the static orange LED on the Z390 Gigabyte UD

If one uses something like the Dark Rock Pro 4, get a couple of case fans for the front. The S340 is not known for its good airflow.

What case fans would you recommend? Or I could change the case completely if it would benefit

Thanks I know functionality is more important than aesthetics but I’d just thought I’d ask.

You already have the case and it is not a bad case. I'd keep it. As for case fans, one option would be to use Nzxt models similar to the stock fans. BeQuiet Silent Wings 3 are a decent alternative.
