What graphics card to upgrade to eventually?

vamosuk

Hi people, got this build and to save money and splash out on other parts I have decided to reuse my old GTX 970. I dont play games often anymore (although I will when I build this PC) I will use it mainly as a workstation.

Just wondering eventually when I can afford to upgrade what shall I go out looking for?

It really depends on how long can you hold up to the GTX 970... if it serves you fine enough might as well wait for Navi.

If you’ve got the cash, obviously go with an RTX 2080Ti, if you wanna save a bit but still go high end maybe try a Radeon VII... if you really just wanna save money maybe try a GTX 1660Ti.

Other people are right tho...

maybe wait for Navi

I got a ps5 and a pc pretty ballin

Wait till Navi as the others said. That will be the price to performance king and if you're struggling with money, those gpu's will be the savior. Arriving in June/July most likely.

Dude you bringing down your entire system with that crappy 970 card.  You have top of the line CPU and motherboard,  But a POS video card.  Grab the 2060 for 1080p gaming, Or a 1080 used for 1440p gaming.or go team red and get a RX 580 and OC it and performance will be near a 590 and what not.
