Asus Z270-K - is my memory running at 3000MHz?

Hi,

Replaced 2x 8GB Kingston Hyper-X DIMMs with the Team Group Vulcan 2x 16GB 3000MGz today - 16-18-18-38, 1.35V - MPN: TLGD432G3000HC16CDC01.

I've enabled XMP, and profile matching DIMM kit was found and PC booted OK.

I'm getting some odd contradictory info from CPU-Z and even inside the BIOS, as to which speed these are running at however:

Are these actually running at 3000MHz, and if they are, should I be worried about the voltage being reported as 1.45V instead of 1.35V?  The XMP profile had 1.35V listed.

Thanks all.

Thanks.

Should I be worried about the 1.45V, or is this likely to be an incorrect BIOS entry too?

1.45 sounds a bit too high, what happens if you set it manually to 1.35?

OK, weird.  Re the 1.45V on the memory - XMP profile shows 1.35V, and the memory voltage selection field shows 1.3500.  When I manually overwrite it to 1.35 (or 1.350, or 1.3500), the BIOS doesn't recognise any changes as having been applied when I exit.

Either the 1.45V isn't an accurate entry in the BIOS display, or it's being automatically increased (XMP somehow?) to 1.45V.

I think I'll have to leave it alone.

I've got the latest BIOS version.  Is there any other update or firmware change, that could fix the issue of memory being reported incorrectly as 2400MHz?

Thanks all.
