Ideas for Inventory Management?

Other than simply suggesting a spreadsheet software like Excel or Google Spreadsheets, I don't have much to add here :P

Hey everyone!

Looking for some input from the community! I am in charge of IT at my company and am looking to implement a new software to keep track of computers, phones, etc. All employees have a company issued phone and laptop, some iPads out there too, etc. I wanted a tool to barcode and assign them, as well as keep relevant information about the device. I.e., passwords for the computer, receipts and warranty information. Excel is inefficient for this with the growth we are seeing. Any suggestions would be amazing!

I know LTT uses something to keep track of their various electronics, anyone know what it is?

Thank you all!

Look at lansweeper, it does network scanning and asset management and other nice things. You can use qr codes on devices if you want, and store comments.

I really like the look of this one. . .Sounds like my weekend will be shot seeing if this would be practical to roll out! Haha. Thank you so much for the suggestion!

Thank you for this! That was a quick reply. This looks like exactly what I was asking for. Super simplistic and straightforward. I appreciate your help!

Yea, I use it at work. Great to keep everything monitored on the network. Super simple to setup and test.

So is it actually free for the first 100 devices? I think that might be enough for where we are at right now. For something of that scale, I would want to see it in action before pledging more to our overhead.

Fully free for 100 devices, with a trial of unlimited devices for like 30 days. I think it also says freeware at the top, but you can use everything.
