Epic!!!

I feel so special now… Just bought my first game through Epic …. Operencía … some kind of wet dream to people who had fun playing dungeon crawlers in '96 ;)

Who else did join epic already ? and for what reason ??

I just thought : " heck, why the hell not… that Jupiter stuff that combines city building with tactical ship combat seems interesting too,

on paper it combines 2 of my favorite pc pursuits so yea… "

Did i now? They did offer a free puzzle game, looked like it ported from a VR enviroment, which i removed pretty quick for 2 reasons..

1 : The whining sound on my gtx even after checking vertical sync which lowered the fps from 300 to 60.. it did got less though
2 : The sudden flash of memory about EPIC checking out steam… They shall not know how intelligent this person really is!!!

Ads are getting smarter... I think?

well more personalized .. i could agree on that but yea… if ads are 'invented' by little girls and boys who follow the school rule book i can't agree on that factor.. everyone with decent level of self awareness should be relative safe

the game is graphic heavier then expected! Tomorrow it will be xmp on and maybe a 700 mhz clock oc for the 1060 3gb... The experience is less then optimal even while fps hovers between 40 and 60 fps on high settings ( highest ) noticeable fallback on drawrates as opposed to free look speed

Finished the tutorial and the first challenge with good feeling ;)

Operencia looks interesting yet has things going on that I'd probably wish I could skip. Especially the sorting process. I joined Epic many months ago just for the free games per month. If any of the games that cost money drop to a reasonable price over time, I'll be sure to snag the ones I've been eyeballing. Operencia in particular.

You gotta change the í at the end of Operencía to an i and you'll get tons more results. Copying and pasting Operencía from above has an í at the end of it.

or just pieces of information that will never matter to anyone, ever.

Put Shadows at Medium, Anti-Aliasing at Medium(if you're in 1080p) or Low(if you're in 1440p) or Off(if you're in 4K), Post-Processing at Medium(possibly Low, ya' gotta check the visual difference), FOV at 80/90 and Motion Blur at Off. This should dramatically improve your fps(I'm guessing) without losing much visual fidelity.

I fear my 1050Ti would be the better choice here... but oke …. xmp doesn't really fix or change anything but increasing the memory speed with 700 Mhz does do the trick.. almost to silly where most of the time gpu usage is between 80 and 100%

Well thank god it isn't as worse as i feared… The 1050Ti struggles too though it displays better rendering capabilities then the 1060 in some places… places filled with fireflies for example….
Might as well go down a couple of levels as @Dr. Historic Low so kindly suggested, i'm currently on a retro spree so the 1050 is sufficient enough card

Try my settings with v-sync OFF and post the screenshot. The GPU usage can be whatever it wants to be as long as you get high fps and the same visual fidelity.

Had some system instability after the last swap to the 1050Ti, some minor stuff as 2 fans blowing at full speed right after the change and when i booted up when finished with dinner the boot screen showed offset from the center ( the logo was instead centered moved almost 10 cm's to the right ) when i feel confident about stability i will try and test your settings
