I have a 42 inch 4k 60fps tv, is there a specific hdmi cord i need?

HDMI 2.0 shouldn't need special cables, though one that's not low equality is better. Might as well get one that works with HDMI 2.1 if you want to stick with it for long

No, just being a regular 2.0 HDMI cable, you should be fine.

There is no such thing as a 2.0 cable.

The difference is that some are low quality and some are good, and the low quality ones can have problems with higher datarates.

Just because a cable has HDMI 2.0 on the box does not mean it is good quality and can do 4k60, and just because it does not say that doesn't mean it can't.

How long do you need the cable to be? Over 15 feet will be iffy unless you get a fiber optic HDMI cable.
