I'm not really a fan either. However I buy every Humble Bundle, mostly to support the charity.  ;)

EDIT: Now I could listen to audiobooks in the workshop.

be cooler to have just books, not audio books for amazon or something

We all know what humble bundle is at this stage, an online games store with weekly sales and an outlet for obtaining DRM free games whilst paying what you choose and the proceeds going to charities of your selection.

But, did you know you can now get audio books there too?

It still employs the same old 'pay what you want to charities of your choice' but it's now no longer targeting a strictly gaming demographic, but now those who enjoy listening(?) to books.

I can't say I'm a fan of audiobooks myself, but Linus does advertise audiobooks in videos and streams, so maybe those who took up that free audiobook offer may be interested in these.

This has been posted else where on the forums :S

I personally think it's interesting... They did a comedy one awhile back, so it isn't completely unusual.

But, books? For real? I don't even know any of those authors. I guess that's what this is for, but still... At least add some known works so people will pay for it. (edit: I take that back, there are some good authors there. I almost did a semester studying Salman Rushdie)

Its great so far. Its much easier on the eyes then my nook tablet and ipad when it comes to reading ebooks. My only complaint is that it doesn't natively run the epub format which is most of my books but its easy enough to convert them to the proper format and side load. Its worth the extra work to have them run on the Paperwhite

Hey... go away! Books are awesome. I'm not keen on listening to other people read, though, so I'm skipping this bundle.
