Here is the specs for both cards, the above are the same but they have different coolers.

  • Name: R7 260 1GDDR5
  • GPU: AMD Radeon R7 260
  • GPU Clock speed: 768 stream processors ~ 1050 MHz
  • Memory Size / Speed: 1024 MB GDDR5 / 6000 MHz(that mhz is CLOSE to 9000)
  • Outputs: DisplayPort / HDMI / DL-DVI-I / DL-DVI-D

And how could i forget TRUE AUDIO COMES WITH THIS GPU, yes thats right, trueaudio exclusive to the R7 260, R9 290, R9 290x. AMD once again with the f the police logic, also its said that the cpu usage may be reduced by up to 14%(cpu not stated of course, i bet its a sempron) so more cpu(ness) can be used for good things like the game you are a placing or better fps on the one 4k video in the world, which is of that one random girl with the pompoms. Not really much more to say here

This gpu is just under the 7790 in terms of performance but it does beat out the 7770 and i expect it to be in that price range so around £100 or $120.
