How can I make a Bootable USB to update my BIOS?

Go to solution Solved by vascobrissos14,

Fixed.

Had to install Vista and run the BiosUpdater.exe on Vista.

I have an old Fujitsu Esprimo Mobile V5535 running BIOS 1.12

Since the last version is 1.13, I want to update my BIOS.

The files can be found here.

http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/IndexDownload.asp?lng=pt

Now, how can I make a usb bootable with the BIOS update?

I tried using rufus but it didn't work.

They say it's for CDs but I can't burn any atm ans it's a waste of CDs.

How can I make a bootable USB with the BIOS update?

I usually don't recommend this, but if you're unwilling to use the CD method, then all that's left is the windows flash method.

I'm sure you can use Rufus, maybe the file system is wrong. What exactly happened? Did it just not boot, any errors?

At least for modern systems there's usually three options, Windows, DOS, & BIOS. It doesn't give you an option with the raw BIOS file to go into the bios and use a Flash BIOS button? This would scan removable media (a thumb drive) for a BIOS file and update from there. No "make it bootable" requirement.

That isn't an option?

I only ever had one instance where this was the case. It was an old dual socket dell server and I ended up updating the BIOS via DOS. Wasn't too painful.

I also tried that method but it says "Error. No admin privileges Code: 1725" when I execute the exe with admin rights.

So I can't update the BIOS from Windows
