Overclocking hz

Hello!

I tried overclocking my 75hz monitor, the most I've overclocked it to at a working state is at 83hz.

That for me seems kinda low, because on my old 60hz monitor I was able to overclock it to a bit less than 82hz.

I have an amd card, is there a way I can overclock my monitor even more?

No, the hz depends strictly on the monitor, every monitor is different, because technically they are only rated for their native refresh rate, so anything over that is a gamble. Just be happy that your monitor doesn't overclock to 76hz, but goes to full 83.

 

ALSO 75hz monitors are just factory overclocked 60hz monitors, that are just fully vertified to reach 75hz.

I have two 60Hz monitors which both have a "Not recommended" 75Hz option in their menus, which I use.

What is actually supposed to go here? Some people put their specs, others put random comments or remarks about themselves or others, and there are a few who put cryptic statements.
