No. Still not yet. Times are tough for now but maybe in the few weeks. Getting a new mouse though.

Anybody have some compatible different Nvidia cards they're willing to try this on? If this is actually a thing, this is going to be a game changer.

Yeah really. This is EXTREMELY awesome news if it works properly.

Why? AMD cards have been able to do this for donkeys' years without running a driver hack.

Looks like the compatabilities extend further than just the DEV number's matching three digits, as some guy got a GTX 460 and GTX 560Ti working together using this, gives me hope for a 470 + 560Ti combo as I have those two cards. Unforunately, I'd be dialed back 280MB on VRAM because of the inferior 560Ti. But it could be worth the trade off.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

So is there a list anywhere saying what cards are similar enough to where you can do this.

Need someone to confirm this.

So is there a list anywhere saying what cards are similar enough to where you can do this.

It's confirmed, can't believe more people didn't know about this, there was a time when you couldn't go on a tech forum without being linked to this.

In general it should work on cards of the same architecture so like Fermis or Keplers etc, I think the likelihood is greater if they are based off the same chip like 470, 480/560ti 448, 570, 580 other combinations may work though as far as I know, not sure about the Keplers been a while since I read this but the 660-680 should definitely be compatible with 760 and 770 as they are just a refresh.

Best to just read through the thread and see what luck people have had, it doesn't always seem to work, this might be down to human error. I wouldn't go out making purchases based on this though, it's just useful if you have them lying around.

Well it would be really nice if Nvidia would implement something like this into their drivers so people can still use their existing card with a newer card. I still have my 680 Classified and I don't want to get rid of it for at least another 3 years. I also have a 560 Ti but it would be really nice if i could just boost my performance by 10 frames by adding in a 560 Ti. They are different architectures though so I doubt it will work.

I don't think you can SLI a Fermi with a Kepler, haven't read up on it recently but I'm fairly positive that still stands. Yeah I really don't understand why Nvidia don't implement this natively, I think there were some downsides though, they were probably just playing it safe, some people seem to have success were others didn't so that uncertainty might be a factor. They probably just don't want disappointed customers.
