I am planning to buy a pre-built PC MSI Aegis 3 8RC (Specs listed below). I am a 3D Designer particularly using Maya the most. My current Laptop has 920M Nvidia and 8GB RAM. And it's a pain in the butt ngl. I need a PC that would satisfy my needs when it comes to working with 3D. And I also need the PC to be able to handle components that need to be retopologized (consisting of millions of verts). The current PC has a price of 1,430 EUR and that's my peak on the cost bar.

On this forum, people will generally never recommend that you buy a prebuilt PC.

 

Can you build your own PC? If yes, what's your budget and location?

SO-DIMM? What motherboard are they using?

That's typically laptop memory.

 

Edit: I also dislike the storage configuration they have there. 1 HDD, 1 nvme and 2 2.5" SSDs? Does "Auto switch" mean raid zero? It's just so weird

Typical marketing BS to confuse people into thinking that this product is packed with some "Super exclusive" features.
