Computer turning on but no display

zacic

My computer does not display. I have tried using my intergrated graphics but it didn’t do anything. I then tested my GPU and my SSD in my brother’s computer and they bothed worked fine. Should I buy a new motherboard?

Tested:

PSU

GPU

MOBO

RAM

SSD

It's an old build about two years. One day it froze while using. After I forced restarted it, it stopped displaying.

I'm not that smart when it comes to pc stuff but if u have replaced with a new motherboard and you know that your monitor works for sure (if you're not sure then try to plug something else in it to see). if u have a GPU try to make sure power is plugged into the card. it could be ram if not put in correctly so try to take that out and put it back in. maybe a CPU but honesty after a freeze I don't think that would be it. you might need to reinstall windows because I have had to do that when my computer froze and didn't turn back on I had to make a new boot drive off of a USB to boot into the windows installer tool. honestly, I hope this helped good luck

Thank you for replying! I have ordered some new Ram to test if that’s the problem. After the ram is tested my last component I have not tested would be my CPU, although like you I highly doubt it is my CPU. I might bring it in to my local computer repair shop and see what their opinion is.

I have. Before buying this new motherboard I purchased a new PSU and it didn't change anything. So I figured the PSU was fine. Update, I tested new RAM and got no results.
