right im running a geforce 660 msi version and ive got an older xtx radeon card that i wanna put in my system?

i know that they two different graphic cards but i wanna run them together so i could probably get a better experience with stuff? most likely games and some photoshop i use

Since the cards are not exactly the same you could not run them together. For cards to run together they need to be the same. Such as two 660's or two r270's.

Gpu makers are racist like that, no you can not mix yellow and white, white and black, or brown and yellow...but they sure would make pretty babies!

You can put them together, but not to increase the overall performance. They would just be working separately.
