so the exploding GTX 1060, 1070 and 1080 SC and FTW editions didn't scare you off? ?

I got the FTW2 GTX 1080, was the updated version, yeah I was watching it.

Got one of the early ones with the 11GBS memory out of the box before they started using the 10 GBS memory due to the shortage.

Then I got the GTX 1080Ti FTW3 and now the 2080Ti FTW3 Ultra.

I still have the 1080Ti and 1080 (in another machine)

Plan on putting the 1080Ti in another machine once I update it, just have to get around to putting it together, already have everything.

I would 100% recommend the MSI card over Asus. I have the Gaming X Trio (although the non Ti version) and the fans are much quieter. I would say that the RGB is better too. Attached is a picture of my build

ASUS is the better card in general.

However the BEST is the EVGA 2080Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming out of all of them.

It definitely isn't. I have had experience with both and MSI's card is much better. The fans are much quieter, thermals are better and imo the card looks better.
