  1. Evening all, My missus has a HTPC sat under her TV in the Masterbox Q500L that I modded with 3x extra HDDs support. She's just replaced her TV unit and it now sits on top instead of inside and sticks out like a sore thumb so we need to transfer the internals. Here's a few 'musts' and why they are 'musts'. MATX / ATX support as it's a 1155 board and really don't want to spend a bomb upgrading. 6x HDDs, 4x 3.5 would be nice as again, She's got 4x 10TB 3.5s and runs a 2TB drive for VR games and an SSD for booting. We can skimp that down to 4x HDDs if needed, as we can do 3x
  2. Looking for something a bit niche, And hopefully someone in this forum can help. I'm after a Lian Li PC06 or PC 07, Preferably the 06 because of the size. I need to replace the Masterbox Q500L under the missus TV that serves the house plex, and this case is the only thing I like Aesthetic wise. ( i modded the Q500L with a 3d Printed HDD bracket to cover the 6 HDD requirement ) Failing that I have a need for a case for mATX, 6x HDD's / 4x 3.5 and 2 x 2.5, ATX PSU. I was thinking of a P3 as an alternative. But it might be a little to high to fit in the shelf Don't want t
  3. I did, i'll edit, I had Asus on the brain because of the rest of the build lol

  5. Looking for some advice yet again. Got an Asus p8h61 mx usb3 for a HTPC build. Unfortunately BIOS settings never stick after the PSU is unplugged. They will stay if it never is, and runs fine other than this. Obviously first point of call was to change the battery, so I've tried with 2x Duracell 2032 both brand new and one from a board that does keep the RTC. This didn't fix the issue. I replaced 2 caps near the CPU power connector as one had broken off. And it boots absolutely fine, it will keep presets saved on the EEPROM, so if a power loss does occur I can reload fast.
  6. Does anybody in here have access to a Z77 Pro 4-M Motherboard? If so can you tell me the capacitor that is top right of the board at C259? I need to replace that to get the banks working on a board but can't find the schematic or a decent Hi Res image of the board to find the replacement. Cap is literally top right -
  7. Indeed. The HTPC Look is the main factor. I'll have a look at the GD09 now. At the minute the TT v21 is only £40 and does everything I need it to. Age and size is a bit much though. If the RV01 wasn't SFX and expensive after buying an SFX PSU that may have worked.
  8. Looking for a cheap but pretty specific HTPC case for under the TV. Since I've upgraded my boys PCs for XMAS I've got spare parts that would fit well as a HTPC. Any decent cases sub £60? MATX Support and ATX PSU, as I would like to fit my old MSI 960 in there full size GPU support would be nice. Yes I understand this is specific and a large GPU being supported won't be easy. But I'm sure you guys have some fine ideas ;) SilverStone SST-GD10B - Is literally perfect. Downside is it's a little over budget and it's hard enough getting this idea round the missus as it is ?
  9. Ok guys and gals, I don't mind if it's from china but I am after a specific block x2 so that I can liquid cool an OG XBOX. NO i don't care that it's worthless, or a waste. It's something I want to do. Now onto the nitty gritty: I have Hunted all day, and the CPU uses a Geforce 4 Mounting system so that's 50x63 with a diagonal pitch of 80mm. Attached is a picture. Next there's only 2 mount holes I can use which would be 80mm again but OFF centre so I preferably would need either a big block or a block that has mounting brackets i can move but STILL keep the 80mm spacing. Attached is a
  10. Hello guys and gals, I can't post in the WTB so I'm posting here NOT for members to offer me theirs but to see if any one has links to a UK stockist or a stockist that won't charge $50 to ship to the UK. I'm after a Koolance GPU-200, or something GF3 for an OGXbox watercooling project. Downside is Koolance want $40 each for the GPU-200, then $50 shipping that's £100 for some old blocks. Are there ANY left in the wild? Does anyone know an old vendor that could never clear the stock and would ship to the UK? Picture included to show what i'm looking for.
  11. The Evolv X handle it well? Doesnt the 680x have the same floor space as the 570x? Which bends the motherboard anyway?
  12. Ok here comes yet another post asking for a case. I've been through so many and really can't stand any of them. I need a case for a rampage VI extreme before I sell my 7980xe and board and just go back to a 9900k or 10th gen and ATX. Frustration is getting too me due to the mobo size. Cases I've tried: Lian Li Alpha 500 ( That was chaos and look atrocious) PC 011 Dynamic ( overhang was bad so hoping the rog v2 is a bit better. This may be the case of choice ) PC-011 WGX ( Temps were terrible with no airflow through the front. Corsair 570x
  13. I just posted pics of why I don't like the dynamic.
  14. I've had the 0-11 Dynamic and I didn't like how my board fit as cable's went over my fans. Ignore the cable management it was a test fit. And I've got a strix 2080ti and not the HOF1080Ti now. Turns out it will fit if I go vertical mount. But it's not going to be the greatest thermals.
  15. Ok everyone, yet another post about cases. I'm looking at the 680x as it's the only case I've seen that's as perdy as a need in a fair while. Unless anyone knows of anything coming soon that's as noice. Anyway. I'm calling any 680x owners who have a 360mm RAD up front and 2 120s up top to post how much space there is after these are added. I can't find a great dimensions spreadsheet bar some generic measurements. I'm aiming to put an EATX Board at 305mm and a Strix 2080ti in there. But my h150i + 3ll120's and 2x LL120's Uptop might cause some issues.
