So i am building a gaming, 3D design/game design PC and i have picked out all my parts including which card i want which is the 780Ti. But i'm not sure which one to get that will provide the best cooling and performance. Also i am NOT water cooling. The one i have had my eye on is the Gigabyte Windforce 780Ti. Looks don't really matter to much, just performance. Any help is appreciated.

I'd go with one of the following:

ASUS' Direct CU II

Gigabyte's Windforce

MSI's TwinFrozr

They would all perform withing a degree or two of each other.

Just factor in price and aesthetics. (Don't forget the card will be facing down in most setups)

personally i would get an evga acx cooled card. probably the best cooler i have ever had and their customer service is amazing compared to the the companies i dealt with previously with asus being hands down worst customer service i have ever had.

Another factor would be noise. Because while it doesn't need to be completely silent i don't want something that sounds like a helicopter taking off

The ACX cooler costs a premium though.

Quietest card without WC loop is always gonna be the one with the highest clocks/room for load and obviously best cooling. 780ti KINGPIN is overpowered, but meant to be very durable and for extreme overclockers. I also don't know for sure how quiet it really is or if it's fans are any different from normal ACX (they likely are, I just don't focus on unattainable cards' specs). ACX might be one of the quieter ones but I think it's too pricey for what it does compared to Asus or Gigabyte coolers.

Best card overall is always Gigabyte cards, imo. Windforce X3 is quite potent for cooling in the newest revisions, it's always one of the cheaper options it seems, and it's like the 2nd/3rd quietest under load for air in most cases and one of the best for overclocking.

Direct CU II hands down, end of topic. Period.

No. He asked for "best". The hierarchy is as follows:

Über tier:

1. Palit Super Jetstream

2. MSI Lightning

3. Zotac AMP!

Very good tier:

4. Palit Jetstream

Slightly good but overpriced tier:

5. EVGA ACX

6. Gainward Phantom

Ordinary/ Budget tier:

7. ASUS DirectCU II

8. Gigabyte Windforce

9. MSI Gaming / TwinFrozr

Dredge tier:

PNY, KFA2/ Galaxy, etc.

(Galaxy/ KFA2 HOF and EVGA Kingpin not ranked due to recent/ not yet introduced)
