video Shoot people running towards a moving camera?

I'm trying to film a short series for fun with friends. Basically what I want is for me and my friend to jog around with the camera in front of us. I want the camera to move away from us as we are running towards it. I know I could have my cameraman run backward but it would be hard for him to run backward with a camera. Any Ideas?

Maybe some sort of vehicle could help? Doesn't need to be a car, so long as it can keep up.

Get someone with a car, have a person sit in the trunk and face backwards, have the person with the car slowly drive away.

We are shooting at a park so a car won't work, but maybe a bike?

I looked on Maps, the road the park is on cars can drive on it, didn't realize you could.
