Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

wow. the NSA can really go fuck themselves. too bad we all custom build our pcs so non of this shit.

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only a GTX 1080, just a single 1080, where my glorious PC once stood....

For that is all I need, For the Emperor of Man, Jen-Hsun Huang, protects. We march for Nvidia, and we shall know no fear!

I'm normally all in favor of bagging the NSA, especially when they are using internet based technology that can sweep net users anywhere, you know like old fashion viruses or packet sniffers etc.  However this is old school espionage with high tech devices, No one really needs to worry about this unless you are already a suspected spy for a country other than USA.  They are not going to waste their time bugging some random nobody on the off chance he is a terrorist.  This is where the information should be kept secret, this is where I draw the line on what should be public and what shouldn't.

This off course is assuming it is an actual leak and not some made up story to get a few more viewers on someones website.

russia must be getting pist. worst case scenario the US gets threats of war if this doesnt stop. and i dont want 2-4 super powers going to war. its bad for everyone

This "technology" has been out for years, and the media would never publish this to an extent.

NSA is just autistic.

BS, Autistic's are awesome,  If it weren't for Autistic's majority of the breakthroughs in science (like silicon technology) would have taken a lot longer to happen.

You know as much as I'd like to see the NSA dead I am not sure it would be a good idea. Without the national security agency we won't have national security unfortunately. But the second an alternative group/solution pops up they are as good as gone.

i dont think they can provide national security or arent capable if they couldn't get the Boston guys who planned the tragedy on twitter.

I thought this was interesting.. http://www.popularresistance.org/new-intel-based-pcs-permanently-hackable/

Accessing any PC anywhere, no matter what operating system is installed, even if it is physically disconnected from the internet.

You see, Core vPro processors work in conjunction with Intel’s new Anti Theft 3.0, which put 3g connectivity into every Intel CPU after the Sandy Bridge version of the I3/5/7 processors.

Users do not get to know about that 3g connection, but it IS there. Frank was not stupid so he unplugged his router. Unfortunately for Frank, that won’t work, because anti theft 3.0 always has that 3g connection on also, even if the computer is turned off. Sorry frank, you were good with operating systems, but did not know everything about hardware. And now the real reason for your finicky security habits will be known to the NSA – you found a way to route photons to any place in the world without any sort of cable. You revolutionized communications. You were going public when you returned from your vacation, but thanks to your new Core vPro processors, a major communications firm is going to go public with your invention BEFORE you get home, and your research will be deleted and replaced with “criminal activity” so you will be arrested when you get back and unable to speak about the theft of your invention. Fascism is GREAT.

If a system has the ram chips pulled, a Core vPro processor will read the hard disk anyway because it has all the ram it needs embedded in the vPro core.

If you encrypted your hard drive, a Core vPro processor will read it anyway, because it snagged your encryption key. If your system has been taken apart, and has no video card, ram, floppy, or hard drive, your Core vPro processor nailed you, because you left a flash drive plugged in. Or a CD in the CD drive. And what about that web cam?

The bottom line? The Core vPro processor is the end of any pretend privacy. If you think encryption, Norton, or anything else is going to ensure your privacy, including never hooking up to the web at all, think again. There is now more than just a ghost in the machine.

If you believe Intel’s cheerful hype about these processors making things more secure than ever, think again, because any processor which allows a machine to be accessed even when it’s turned off equates to an information tyrant’s dream come true. Please engage your brain while watching this, the security pitch is unadulterated B.S. These processors in fact represent an absolute breach of security no matter how they are marketed. From the technical viewpoint of someone who worked for an intelligence agency, I call B.S. on Intel, avoid these processors like the plague!

I don't wanna hear the usual Conspiracy shit... I thought I'd share this as I found it...

Don't know what to make of it, sensationalist BS or real..?

Holy **** that's insane. I'm not sure if i undersood it right. Does every intel Cpu since Sandy bridge have this backdoor?

Just few days ago, i read news article from my local newspaper Helsingin sanomat(Helsinki Time's) about similar techology that NSA claims to have. Some former NSA guy said that they have technology which gives them access to computers even if they are offline and powered off. I thought that this would be just false information/speculation and impossible , but now when i've watched this Intel marketing video, there is no doubt who is providing this tech and backdoor for NSA.

Somebodys gotta do something about this NSA bullshit. This is really insane that people allow this to happen, US is democracy ffs. Why people keep voting these corrupted assholes to power? US is major threat to the whole world, and other countries just allows this to happen. This technology allows whole new kind of electronical warfare and industrial spying, and if USA gov has this tech of course it's gonna use it.

I'm sorry for bad grammar and stuff, but i'm just so angry right now i can't focus on typing.

Signature is for bragging what's inside your case right? Hmm. so here it is.

They don't "allow" it to happen. There is nothing the majority of countries on this globe that would stand a chance against the super power that is the US of A.

Trade sanctions would be a good start. And EU countries should leave NATO and make new European defence alliance. That would leave US to warmonger alone. US is running entirely on debt now and they can't do that for long. Us is not going to be "superpower" for long. EU and US should start some serious dialog about this.

I think the benefits of European countries staying NATO outweigh the needs of a 'defence alliance'.

Yeah,.. I was taken back by this and don't really know what to make of it...

Everyone always states, its for security.. but... we all know abuse of power runs rampant...

I thought I'd share it, as its a Tech forum, this is Tech related, regardless of the opinions people have...

Glad you took the time to read, most skip over a long post like this.

They probably do monitor the forum, and every other tech related forum, since there are a lot of hackers and programmers in these forums, that can be considered "terrorists" for flashing a 290 to a 290x :P
