I’m in the middle of upgrading my PC, and I’ve run into an issue that I don’t know how to fix. I’m using the Aorus Z390 master. It appears that it only has 2 USB2.0 headers. I need both of them for my front USB ports. The problem is that I am using a Corsair H100i pro, and it also needs an internal USB 2.0 header, but the mobo doesn’t have any more. What are my options to get this damn thing plugged in?

I’ve included a picture from the manual to make it easier to see what I’m working with.

You have an F_USB right at the bottom which is what you need, and your pump will have 1 4pin fan connector going to the board, and then it will have its own 2 other fan ports directly on it, at least my H80i v2 does.

Desktop: i9 11900k, 32GB DDR4, 4060 Ti 8GB 🙂

Are you talking about CPU fan headers or USB headers? Your title doesn't seem to match your post...

USB header. I fixed the title now haha.

You can get a USB 3.0 header to a USB 2.0 one if you don't need the USB 3.0 front panel connector: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA6V85131961

I definitely use the front USB ports, so that’s not a great option.

I find it really strange that an expensive mobo like this wouldn’t have more of these.

So what you're saying is your front panel has 4x USB 2.0 and 2x USB 3.0 and you use them often? Then your only other option is something like a USB expansion card that comes with a USB header, like https://www.amazon.com/Mailiya-Express-Controller-Adapter-Connector/dp/B01G85LFEK/ref=zg_bs_229185_5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=V1E39ZAW30G64SYNPYM3

EDIT: I lied about the only other option. You could also get a USB hub that plugs in from the rear I/O to provide all the "front panel" USB you need and repurpose the internal ones.

You could get an internal USB hub like this one : https://www.nzxt.com/products/internal-usb-hub

Connect the hub to one of the motherboard headers, and connect the second pair of usb 2.0 connectors from the case to the hub (the connectors you'll probably use less)

Then plug the internal stuff that you wanted to connect to motherboard into the usb hub.

A cheaper and smaller controller, example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/4-port-USB-2-0-HUB-for-internal-USB-9-pin-expansion-of-motherboard-P-O/253697349551?hash=item3b118a57af:g:o20AAOSw~K9bKF59

Seems to convert 2 usb ports (a header) into 4 x 2 ports  (4 headers), each controller chip takes one usb input and creates 4 usb ports (2 headers x  2 ports) ...
