Ok thank you is there anything youd change?

These are united states prices? Seems like you're significantly overpaying on a lot of things. That CPU can be had new for like $180 with cooler. RAM is like $120. PSU could be more like $80-90 for a nice one. Are you paying $55 for a single 120mm fan? Even $29 is a lot imo. Same on the motherboard. That should be more like $130-150.

Instead of $180-120-90-140

Your paying $260-239-229-189

EDIT: I see the AU in the URL.

Gaming - Ryzen 9800X3D | 64GB 6400mhz cl30 9070 XT

Homelab - many servers...constantly changing.

3970X/256GB - 5950X/128GB ECC - 5600G/96GB - 3400GE/16GB - 3400GE/16GB

This is better balanced. Much better board, nicer case and still RGB Ram. The 860 EVO is a solid SSD if you are just gaming.

Saves you about $100. I would have chosen the cheaper B450 Gaming Pro Carbon but it isn't in stock until the end of March.

PC Case Gear - Shared Shopping Cart
1 x AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with Wraith Stealth - $259.00ea
1 x Samsung 860 EVO 2.5in SATA SSD 1TB - $219.00ea
1 x Seasonic Focus Gold 650W Power Supply - $129.00ea
1 x Fractal Design Meshify C Light TG Case Blackout - $149.00ea
1 x MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon Motherboard - $299.00ea
1 x G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4-3000C16D-16GTZR 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 - $209.00ea
Total: $1,264.00 - @pccasegear.com 09/03/2019

If you have the scratch, I'd go 8700K and OC to 5GHz, if you're strictly gaming.

I am not a fan of mobo being more than CPU, either get a better CPU or scale down the board.

OP, buy a case where you don't need to add fans to it.  The Meshify C is a great case as said above.  There should be a definite balance for your build, it all works together to create a cohesive machine for performance and style.  At least for me.

No idea what his total budget is. The 8700K is $619 on that website. I just specced something similar in price to his list.

I somewhat agree on the board. I had the B450 Gaming Pro Carbon in the basket but noticed it isn't in stock until 29th March. The X470 version is a good base if he ever decides to upgrade to a Ryzen 3xxx/4xxx cpu.

Oh damn, nm the 8700K then.  That's high even with the AUD uptick.

Yes, then the X470 makes sense if you can and do drop in the 3 or 4 series.  Will be a solid machine for quite a few years then.
