I dont know how it happend but now whenever i play minecraft and denstiny 2, the fps gets locked at 75fps (got 75hz screen) even tho i have disabled vsync in both the nvidia control panel and in game. It isnt super bad but i would like to have some more fps than 75 so i dont notice if the fps drops some. I remember something about 2 vsync options in the nvidia control panel but i cant remember where and if im right. And i dont think its my pc that cant get more than 75fps either since it should be able to play those games easily.

I havent noticed this problem in other games like in cs go, cause on there i get over 200fps and it doesnt seem locked. I dont know what have happend but i really want it fixed as fast as possible.

SPECS:

ryzen 3 2200g (stock)

asrock a320m-hdv r3.0

8gb 2400mhz (stock)

Asus Cerberus 1050ti (OC version + my own OC, just a bit)

well from what know ive already disabled every fps lock/vsync thing i can find in minecraft and destiny 2

do you know if either game it using both cpu and gpu to their full potential? or even your ram? I use HWinfo64 to monitor all my stuff.image.thumb.png.4781df09bc911f152b04873af98cef66.png

It should use my cpu and gpu to their full potentional, and i dont think there are any bottleneck since the ryzen 3 pairs super well with the 1050ti

the only thing I can thing of is those games need setting up correctly in the nvidia control panel, there's 2 settings, global and program specific.

That did NOT fix anything.. The fps was still locked at 75...

Either you have something set to adaptive or gsync or something cos it shouldn't be limited to anything. I would deffo check to see if those 2 games in their settings have a priority set to match the refresh of your monitor.

well minecraft doesnt seem to have anything about fps have to match my screens hz and not destiny 2 either. i also tried to reset the settings in the nvidia control panel to see if it changed something. it didnt, so i changed to vsync off and it didnt change

Ok i need to see screenshots now cos I don't know what setting you have on what, have you set power management mode to max performance?

OpenGL rendering gpu to your gpu and not the apu?

i have set the power managment to max performance (in windows 10 settings), and i dont know how to check if i got the OpenGL to the gpu and not apu...
