Best Wireless Controller

I am trying to buy a wireless controller. I was one that will natively work without an adapter on windows 10 steam gaming and also the steam link. Any suggestions?

Really depends on your preferences.

 

I've used Xbox One and PS4 Dualshock on W10 through blu-tooth.  Steam has the ability to see and map both.

Yep.

 

Also, DS4 Windows can spoof xinput for DS4 controllers for non-Steam games, allows the LED strip to be RGB colorized, enables motion controls, and the touch sensor can be configured as a mouse.

 

That said, in terms of functionality, DS4 is better than the Xbone controller. But as far as everything else, it honestly comes to preference.

parroting everyone else... Playstation 4 or Xbox One are probably your best bets. Whichever one you like the feel of is what I would recommend.

 

I use PS4 controllers wirelessly, have an Xbox One Elite controller (usb'd) for most Windows games, a bluetooth SNES controller for SNES/NES emulators, and a usb to N64 adapter with one of those new RetroFighters redesigned N64 controllers for N64 emulators.

I found the Xbox One controller get the full compatibility with Windows 10, but I still have a problem with its shoulder T & B buttons, T = Top but it's actually located at the bottom, and the B = Bottom it's actually located at the top.

 

I really don't understand why Microsoft made it like that. It disoriented me, and makes me difficult to get used to it, as I'm not a console guy..
