Go to solution Solved by minibois,

Under the sharing settings you kind just do this:

Set the 'public on web' (or shareable via link think) on top to view only (see the bottom half of the print screen for that info) and set all the account to 'can edit',

Hi,

I have a large google sheets file that I need to share with about 15 colleagues.

My issue is that :

I would like to set a rule that if my colleague is signed it to their google account they can edit.

If they are not signed in, they may only view the file.

Is this possible?

I'm tired of arriving early in the morning and opening this up and seeing that "Anonymous Pelican" or "Anonymous Nyan Cat" has modified a line..

Any help / Input is well appreciated.

Thanks,

Adam

Click the "share" button on the top right,

Click "advanced"

under the "Anyone who has the link can ___" the access to view (this will allow others to see it if they have the link but not edit it) and/or change link sharing to specific people and invite them directly (I believe they will need to have a Google account)
