Hgh FPS but stuttering in all my games

InvisibleAlex

This problem first happened to me last week, I was able to fix it by going back to an older version of the driver for my GPU.

I have a 9700k and a RTX 2080, last night when I was playing Apex Legends I suddenly started to get extreme stuttering. I walk two steps forward and the game would drag me back. When this problem first happened last week I though it was network issues. So I used my phone's hotspot to try, tried different Ethernet cables. No result. I changed some settings in the NVIDIA control panel. No result. I then went back to an driver that was release in January. It worked. But last night the problem came back. I tried older and newer version of GPU drivers, did not work. This happens in all games. The PC works fine when not gaming.

Any ideas ?

Only time that was an issue with me was the modem not having the coaxial cable completely snug.

Try turning on vSync or if possible a frame cap to 30fps. If it still stutters it's a net issue
