because prebuilt motherboards are an ass, the cooler, case and PSU might not be compatible.

I can understand, but prebuilt cases and motherboards usually tend to be annoying as fuck, and this will do well with lots of upgradability if she ever wants to do more than MS Office.

I did for my brother and they didn't and it's been an ass to work with, probably not going to make same mistake, in mine i made it a b450, because i don't want the hassle, extra $20 but saves a lot of tim

do you personally have a gen 1 ryzen chip? if so there is the whole problem solved.

Ryzen 2 was launched almost a year ago, nowadays most A320 boards sold already have their BIOS updated

You can always get a MSI A320 if you want bios flashback which can update the BIOS for you without a CPU

My brother got a b350 and they didn't bios update it, was so triggered. that was Christmas, still haven't gotten it fixed, Newegg is such an ass about it too.

That's true, but no  idea if it will happen, since he said he would but he probably won't since he doesn't have the money (yet).
