Crunchyroll not noticing my link with VRV premium

I have a VRV premium. And, I've linked it with my Crunchyroll account a while ago. but when I decide to use Crunchyroll to start reading some manga, Crunchyroll says I do not have premium and wants me to start the 14-day trial. Shouldn't the link make me have Crunchyroll premium, also? that is what all the forums say.
